Inertial Reference Trajectories
The simulation-based testing of inertial navigation systems and algorithms requires high-quality, consistent reference trajectories and the corresponding ideal IMU signals. To support testing of navigation algorithms and devices, we provide different high-quality inertial reference trajectories.
The datasets are either based on an analytical description of the flight-path (Lissajous-figures) or on aerodynamic flight simulation. A low as well as a high dynamic trajectory have been created using each of the above approaches.
Each dataset provides position, velocity and orientation data as well as ideal integrating and non-integrating IMU signals for a duration of 5400s at a data rate of 2kHz.
