Announcement: DLR_Uni_Summer_School 2018 – Braunschweig

TUM students have the opportunity to participate in this year’s DLR_Uni_Summer_School, taking place September 10. – 14. 2018 in Braunschweig. Students will prepare, conduct and evaluate different flight tests. The theoretical content will be applied in practice during flight tests with the research aircrafts of DLR (Cessna 208B Grand Caravan) and TU Braunschweig (Dornier Do 128-6).

Participation can be recognized as “Praktikum Flugversuchstechnik” (Flight Testing Lab).

Application is open until August 31th 2018. Please contact Moritz Speckmaier with full name, matriculation number and a list of relevant exams you have passed (Flight System Dynamics 2 and/or Flight Control 1 is desirable).

TUM Students Participate in Flight Testing Course at DLR

From Sept. 6th to Sept. 10th, 2016, eight students from TUM participated at an “Advanced Flight Testing Techniques” course at the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt, DLR). Not only did DLR engineers, scientists and pilots share their experiences in flight testing, but the students also had the unique opportunity to conduct several test flights in DLR’s Cessna 208B Grand Caravan.

Aerospace Summer School @ Concordia University, Canada

The Aerospace Summer School at Concordia welcomes industry professionals, graduate students and prospective graduate students to Montreal in June 2016. Throughout this program, renowned aerospace experts from Stanford, MIT, Cranfield University (UK), Marinvent Corporation and Concordia will lead seminars in Efficient Aircraft Systems.
